Jamie Paige
Jamie Paige Stanley, known professionally as Jamie Paige or JamieP, is an American musician known for creating synthpop music with Synthesizer V and other vocal synthesis software as well as her own voice. She releases both solo works and music as part of the band Flavor Foley, composed of Paige, Vane Lily, and Ricedeity. She is best known for two songs using Kasane Teto: "Birdbrain" featuring OK Glass (using the Synthesizer V voicebank), and "Machine Love", which uses both of Teto's Synthesizer V and UTAU voicebanks. Additionally, the song "Butcher Vanity" by Flavor Foley (using the Synthesizer V voicebank Yi Xi) has achieved wide popularity, surpassing one hundred million views on YouTube. Other vocal synths she has used in her discography include Megpoid, ANRI Arcane, Solaria, and Hatsune Miku. She has contributed several songs to the video game Unbeatable, produced an arrangement of Porter Robinson's song "Cheerleader" for the game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!, using the Vocaloid voicebank Hatsune Miku,, produced the original song "Radiant Revival" for Hatsune Miku Digital Stars 2025, and produced original tracks with Flavor Foley for Colorful Stage! and Hatsune Miku Expo 2026. Paige also contributed to the soundtrack for the webcomic Homestuck in 2016.
Her musical style is inspired by artists such as Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Peter Gabriel and The Alan Parsons Project. Her upbringing in Houston, Texas was formative to her production tendencies. Paige has been described as having "introspective lyrics, and clever Vocaloid experimentation". The synthesized vocals in her music are often mixed in with her own vocals, usually autotuned. Her music also frequently incorporates leitmotifs.
