Wasted Penguinz
Pontuz Bergman (stage name Wasted Penguinz) is a Swedish DJ and hardstyle producer. Wasted Penguinz was originally a duo act that consisted of Bergman and Jon Brandt-Cederhäll, who left the act in 2020.
Wasted Penguinz was previously signed at Scantraxx, before moving over to Toff Music where they released their debut album, Wistfulness, in 2013. They subsequently moved to Toff Music child label Dirty Workz, where they released two further albums in the mid-late 2010s.
Their music has been labelled as "Euphoric Hardstyle", with more of a focus on emotional melodies than other artists. Themes of mental health, personal struggle, love, loss and hope are prevalent in their music, evidenced by track titles such as "Anxiety", "Melancholia", "Wait for You" and "Make It One Day".
