The Smiler
The Smiler is a steel roller coaster located at Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. It was built in 2013 and is an Infinity Coaster model from Gerstlauer and is located in the X-Sector area of the park. The ride currently holds the world record for most inversions on a roller coaster, featuring 14 inversions. These include dive loops, sidewinders, and corkscrews, among other elements.
