Simon Dupree and the Big Sound was a British psychedelic band formed in 1966 by the brothers Derek (vocals), Phil (vocals, saxophone, trumpet), and Ray Shulman (guitar, violin, trumpet, vocals); also known for their later prog rock band, Gentle Giant.
